There are times when the Family Mentors mission of hearing from people who've "been there" is met so well in a post that it warrants creating a new blog topic. The Knife Block is one of them. Janet Blackwood Dowty's heartwarming memory was originally posted to the MOMYS digest and it comes with an important reminder to all of us not to take life for granted -- and don't take it too seriously either.
